Job Summary
The accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing accurate and timely financial information for decision-making for all business interests of the group of companies and business interests owned and operated by the directors.

Job Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general accounts.
    • Record all financial transactions, including income, expenses, and assets.
    • Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial documents and receipts.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements,
    • on a regular basis (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annually).
    • Generate various financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Analyze financial data and provide insights to help management make informed decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the creation and monitoring of budgets.
    • Prepare financial forecasts and projections to assist with long-term planning.
    • Identify and communicate budget variances and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
    • Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Auditing and Internal Controls:
    • Facilitate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial fraud.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
    • Provide recommendations to management for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, or other financial strategies.
  • Financial Software and Systems:
    • Utilize financial software and tools to streamline accounting processes and enhance accuracy.
    • Stay current with advancements in accounting software and technology.
  • Compliance and Ethics:
    • Ensure financial practices and reporting adhere to relevant accounting standards and ethical guidelines.
    • Promote ethical conduct in financial decision-making.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with colleagues in different departments to gather financial information and provide
    • support.
    • Communicate financial information and insights to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and
    • understandable manner.
  • Supervision and Management:
    • Manage the accounting and administrative department staff (between 5 and 7 people at any given time)
    • Advise and guide accounting and administrative procedures in 3 branches
  • Job Requirements
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and standards.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ethical and trustworthy conduct.
    Salary
    10,000 - 15,000 (TTD)
