Point A Pierre Government Special School - Marabella

Pointe A Pierre Government Special School was established on April 14th 1988. The school was started with fifty (50) students and eleven (11) teachers under the headship of Mrs. Myrna Alexander, Principal I and Ms. Angela Braithwaite, Vice Principal I, inclusive. The school was and still is unique in that it is the first state owned and managed “special school”. It is also the only special school in Trinidad & Tobago which has a cross categorical population. Presently there are Forty three (42) pupils, 28 Boys & 14 Girls) and nine (8) teachers (1 Males & 7 Females (excludes principal)). Mr. Andrew Doorgadeen currently the Principal (Ag.)
