"A Black and White Work of Art"

I wanted to depict that beauty still exists in nature beyond the use of colour in this work of art. The use of a fine- tipped, black ink pen in this art piece allowed me the opportunity to pay attention to intricate details.
The purity of the white background peering through the jet- black detailed pen work created for me a blank canvas on which to show that an unique form of beauty exists in the use of only black and white.
To capture the purity of the innocence that exists beyond the use of colour, to behold the nature of life existing beyond the carnal eye is to discover the hidden truth. What an inspirational work of art that offered me the opportunity to journey beyond the carnal sight.
