Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow, and delivering exceptional customer service. Tasked with managing a team, implementing operational strategies, and achieving financial targets. Your leadership and organizational skills will play a key role in maintaining high standards and contributing to its overall success.

Job Responsibilities:

Store Manager is responsible for rostering of staff

Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and motivates employees.
  • Schedule and allocate tasks to ensure proper coverage and efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling and maintenance
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement and enforce store policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Customer Service:

  • Foster a customer-centric culture among staff.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Train employees in providing excellent customer service.

Sales and Financial Management:

  • Set and achieve sales targets and other key performance indicators.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage budgets, control expenses, and maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department on promotions and merchandising strategies.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Oversee the layout and visual presentation of products in the store.
  • Ensure that displays are attractive, organized, and in line with company standards.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.

Security and Loss Prevention:

  • Implement security measures to prevent theft and loss.
  • Collaborate with security personnel and utilize surveillance systems effectively.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Communicate regularly with upper management, providing updates on store performance.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, expenses, and other relevant metrics.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field
  • Knowledge of retail or supermarket operations
  • At Proven experience as a store manager or in a similar managerial role within the retail industry.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail operations and management principles.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
