Branch Manager
Our client in the Restaurant Industry is seeking a motivated Branch Manager to manage/coordinate daily operational, maintenance and commercial activities.
Job Responsibilities
1) Opening & Closing restaurant and delegating opening/closing when off shift
2) Collaborate with the head chef to ensure that supplies (hardware, consumables and food ingredients) are adequately stocked
3) Generating and maintaining a competitive supplier book to ensure cost competitive product and service inputs while driving store profitability
4) Receive and/or coordinate delivery with suppliers
5) Managing any HR/personnel grievances escalated by the head chef.
6) Ensuring the overall safety and maintenance of the Picant Restaurant Store plans are implemented and followed (Emergency response plan, security plan, preventative fire management plan)
7) Interface with corporate client reps for external catering events
8) Deliver a Daily Report to Directors on Daily Sales & Receivables (via email)
9) Oversee/Complete Cash Management activities via Direct Deposit or Cash Management Contractor
10) Manage any customer service inquiries or grievances
11) Interface/troubleshoot any business technology applications (internet, POS machine, payment machines etc.)
Job Requirements
- CSEC (5 subjects - Grade 1-2s) OR Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Hospitality Management, Business Management
- Access to vehicle with updated insurance (private use)
- Valid Drivers License
- 1-2 years experience in restaurant/hospitality industry
Working Hours - 5 days a week, 8 hrs a day. Flexible working hours to meet business needs
