JOB PURPOSE:

The Business Analyst is responsible for defining business problems using in-depth investigation and gathering of technical or non-technical information. The role also is responsible for clearly understanding and outlining detailed requirement for a solution ensuring the delivered solution and meeting business requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Gathering, validating and documenting business
  • Analysing commercial data such as budgets, sales results and
  • Making suggestions and recommendations based on the analysis of these monthly
  • Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process
  • Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business
  • Creating functional specifications for
  • Estimating costs and identifying business
  • Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the whole
  • Implementing and testing of
  • Supporting business transition and helping to establish
  • Informing policy and guideline creation for the purpose of implementation by the relevant
  • Support in the implementation of solutions
  • Involvement in IT and business transformation projects to ensure implementation of suggested and approved solutions.
  • Advise, solutions and multiple options presented to senior managers and exec
  • Efforts to bridge the gap between information technology and wider business by understanding and learning best practices to maintain productivity and efficiency.
  • Exploring and improving business processes and systems by making proposals and
  • Training, teaching collegues new processes and
  • Assist in other areas of work based on the needs of the department and any other area as necessary in support of Company activities.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or ACCA Level II or related
  • Minimum of one (4) years’ experience in a related field
PHYSICAL/MENTAL ENVIRONMENT:
  • Physical Demands: Office activity, sitting, standing, computer usage, lifting of light
  • Environment/Hazard Demands: N/A
  • Travel Demands: Moderate requirement, ability to travel for activities or training
