Finished Goods Warehouse Manager
The Finished Good Warehouse Manager is responsible for adequacy of resources, for receipt, storage and dispatch of stock with appropriate processes for proper accountability, that facilitates timely and most cost-effective customer service with no risk to operational efficiency in the Finished Goods Warehouse.
CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The holder of this job position is responsible for directly serving the following customers:

Purpose & Objective:
The Finished Good Warehouse Manager is responsible for adequacy of resources, for receipt, storage and dispatch of stock with appropriate processes for proper accountability, that facilitates timely and most cost-effective customer service with no risk to operational efficiency in the Finished Goods Warehouse.
Summary of Key Result Areas and Main Duties:

WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS :
- Establish strategies for achieving departmental goals and objectives.
- Develop & continually update strategic planning for warehouse operations to provide maximum efficiency of space, labor, and capital investment.
- Lead team and leverage resources of warehouse operations ensuring operational excellence against a set of customer satisfaction goals and criteria.
- Coordinate all inbound/outbound delivery in various formats in an effective and efficient manner as per standard
- Evaluate and support safety & security and ensure warehouse is kept neat and orderly.
- Lead and/or support warehouse projects to achieve agreed goals and timelines.
COST :
- Directly responsible for annual budgeting decisions, and providing Monthly RE Expenses and Annual Budget for department.
- Develop and implement a detailed inventory control plan and routines to include full count and enough cycle counts to cover all inventory locations in order to maintain an inventory variance of 0.1% or less
- Responsible for managing all departmental cost within budget
- Establishes best organization structure for the most cost-effective accomplishment for department goals
ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATION:
- Prepares or ensures the preparation of required reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis including scorecards and dashboards.
- Prepares or directs preparation of all Standard Operating Procedures and Manuals
- Maintain routines that are focused against the priority of departmental goal and actions to close performance gaps
- Keep a very rigid discipline around all company policy and procedures.

- Strategically build and lead the Warehouse team in an atmosphere that assigns outcome and controls processes.
- Lead, supervisor and coach the Warehouse Supervisors that lead the orchestration of customer experience
- Manage team through routines that ensure all customer needs are met, and that disputes, questions and or complaints are handled on a timely basis.
- Manage warehouse operations and solicit/generate ideas on process improvement.
- Manage all aspects of staff planning, scheduling, and onboarding process ensuring all team members have the required tools and training necessary to do the job. Comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, rules, regulations, and policies.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS & KNOWLEDGE FOR THE JOB:
- Degree in Warehouse Management or related Discipline or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics or Related Discipline
- Recommended Experience - Specialist Knowledge - Certifications
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse/distribution department
- APICS certification or equivalent supply chain certification is an asset

- Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) experience an asset.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervisory responsibilities:
- Up to 10 persons direct reports including Supervisors.
- Indirect supervision of full range of Warehouse of over 50 persons including Admin staff, Forklift Drivers and Stacker Operators, Warehouse Attendants, Cleaners, Contractors
Access to confidential information:
- Sales information, inventory of stock and knowledge of new products.
- Warehouse operating procedures and employees payroll and personnel matters.
Access to or handle company assets:
- Finished Goods Inventory, product transportation equipment such as forklifts, trucks.
- Laptop computer and company cell phone.
Need for external communication:
- Constant verbal communication with third party customers or customers’ representatives. Small amount of dealing with suppliers for needs of the Finished Goods Warehouse.
Working conditions:
- The Company operates a 24-hours, 7 days a week operation and as such you will be required to work on a shift rotation basis inclusive of two (2) Saturdays per month to facilitate such
- Required to use Personal Protective Equipment. May be required to work outdoors. Can be expected to do manual handling and lifting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical Strength and Agility
- May require to continuously walk medium distances, may be required to lift cases and product up to 45 lbs.
- May need to be seated and use the computer for long periods of time
