Job vacancy Welding/Fabrication Supervisor

Follow blueprints, determine material measurements, and take responsibility for fabricating parts used in later assembly processes. The WF Supervisor is responsible for the quality of department output, so you must be able to perform simple tests to ensure weld quality and tolerance.

• Must be able to read blue print drawing.
• Must be able to do job/task assessment and costing.
• Must have leadership skills.
• Must be able to meet required targets and deadlines.

• Read detailed schematics for complex machines
• Use hand tools and power tools to trim, cut and fit components into the final product.
• Weld and solder pieces together
• Align components and connect them with bolts and screws
• Assemble components
• Find faulty components in defective products to fix them
